Words of Wisdom for Ken Lewenza and the CAW

THE WRONG ROAD

The Disappearance of Southern Ontario -- This is an incomplete map of the Lake St. Clair / Chatham-Kent area of S. Ontario showing the positions of hundreds of Industrial Wind Turbines. There are many more turbines not yet marked on the map. A revision will be uploaded when a more current map is made available.

If McGuinty Has His Way….

This is what we can look forward to, if McGuinty’s destruction of our beautiful province is allowed to continue unabated.     Our provincial tag of “Keep Ontario Beautiful” will soon be cast aside as it will no longer hold true.  What a sad future we’re leaving for our descendents.  They won’t have any idea what the natural beauty of Ontario once looked like.  We’re destroying natural habitats, stomping on endangered species and threatening everything we hold dear about our country.

“Concrete jungle” will take on a whole new meaning.

Putting the Size into Perspective

Imagine your house surrounded by 20 to 30 of these.  Then imagine the noise.

McGuinty’s Vision

New Homes Put on Hold in Port Elgin.

One of three building lots where the purchaser backed out, after learning of the CAW wind turbine being built only a short distance away from this subdivision.  Another builder (Mariposa Homes) lost an entire block sale of houses.  Again, special thanks go to Dalton McGuinty,  Ken Lewenza and the CAW leaders who made this vision possible.

Pictures of Port Elgin…before and after the CAW wind turbine

Let’s make a comparison here.

This is the view from the Port Elgin main beach before the CAW wind turbine…

And this is the view after the turbine was built…. (the snowfence at the bottom of the picture is not there all year long.  Just during the winter months.)

Which one would you say is a nicer view?  Which would you rather see if you’re out on the lake sailing by, or simply enjoying the beaches with your family??

A shoreline WITHOUT a 210 foot monstrosity??  Or the shoreline WITH the 210 foot monstrosity?

Just as an fyi, that wind turbine now sits directly in the path of the aircraft circuit for the Port Elgin airport, which is less than 1 km. away just on the other side.  Aviators flying in to Port Elgin now have to deal with an obstruction to flight safety.

So, I’d have to say, after much serious thought, that my vote is WITHOUT!!  But then I prefer the natural beauty of Ontario and the safety of all residents in the town of Port Elgin.  If I had wanted to live in a ‘concrete jungle’, I would move to Toronto, or Kitchener-Waterloo, or Ottawa, or London, etc.

Thanks Dalton McGuinty, the MOE, the MNR, Ken Lewenza and the CAW for destroying the beauty of these Great Lakes and our amazing province.
