The wind industry is running scared as they continue to try to push their propaganda on the public

The recent statement made in Andrew Watts’s letter is incorrectly attributed to the Canadian Wind Energy Association (CanWEA). CanWEA has not changed its position on wind energy and human health.

Wind energy is broadly understood to be one of the safest and most environmentally-friendly forms of electricity generation, and is rapidly being expanded in more than 90 countries around the world.

The balance of scientific evidence and human experience to date clearly concludes that sound from wind turbines does not adversely impact human health. These conclusions continue to be supported by a growing body of work by medical and scientific experts.

In terms of property values, multiple studies in North America have consistently found no statistical evidence that links wind projects to widespread reduced property values.
