Samsung Renewable Energy and Pattern Energy Group have wrapped up financing for the 150MW Grand Renewable Wind scheme in Ontario to pave the way for construction.
The project in Haldimand County, which will feature 67 Siemens 2.3MW wind turbines manufactured in the state, will be accompanied by the 100MW Grand Renewable Solar scheme.
Construction of the wind farm will begin soon and is scheduled to be completed in the autumn of 2014.
Samsung C&T executive vice president KJ Kim said: “The Grand Renewable Wind project, along with our other projects in the province, is creating thousands of high-skilled jobs that will benefit real people in this community and across Ontario.” Read full article, here…..
