Weather isn’t climate – except when the climate-change alarmists say it is

You gotta love these climate-change alarmists.

Whenever some weather event occurs that fits their agenda, they claim it’s caused by global warming.

A classic was Hurricane Sandy. The climate-change crowd claimed it was caused by unusually warm temperatures in the Atlantic that summer. One problem: Ocean temperatures are comprehensively monitored and by late October they were not unusually warm.

But that didn’t stop them. They blamed Sandy on global warming anyway. Sometimes weather really is climate, it seems.

This is not one of those times. It’s pretty tough to get people alarmed by warming when the nation is seeing record low temperatures. No problem. Now the warmists are back to the “weather isn’t climate” argument.

The point of all this is to get us off fossil fuels. And the warmists are certainly right when they say it would be nice to generate all our power from renewable sources. And it would be nice if someone gave me a beach house in Hawaii. But that’s not going to happen.  Read full article ….
