Television Premiere of Down Wind on Sun News Network — June 4th at 8 and 11 p.m.

Sun News Network will air the television premiere of the documentary film DOWN WIND on Wednesday, June 4 at 8:00 p.m. ET and 11:00 p.m. ET.

DOWN WIND is a tell-all film that deals head on with how Ontario politicians rammed through green energy laws and dashed forward with the installation of thousands of wind turbines across the province’s farmland and countryside.

The film exposes how the lights of liberty went out for Ontario citizens deeply opposed to wind turbine projects. It tells the stories of communities torn apart, and the rural warriors now fighting for their rights, health and happiness.

Sun News Network host and contributor Rebecca Thompson joined Surge Media Productions to create this passionate, yet alarming story of a flawed attempt to green Ontario’s electricity grid.

DOWN WIND debunks the Ontario Liberal government’s propaganda that wind power is economically and environmentally sound, by pointing to jaw-dropping wind subsidies and a fossil fuel back-up system.

The film tells the ugly truth about lucrative big wind power contracts, skyrocketing electricity prices, and the political connections behind it all.

It uncovers the skeptical sales pitch that wind turbines are good for the air and won’t impact health. And it provides a glimmer of hope that this nightmare can be overcome with fair-minded solutions.

Passionate stories, eye-dropping footage and never-before seen interviews are showcased in this highly anticipated Sun News Network film backed financially by hundreds of concerned citizens.

A DVD version, including bonus features, will be available for purchase at www.DownWindMovie.com following the television release.

Sun News Network is available on cable and satellite across Canada; check your local listings to find it on your dial.

And the carnage continues here in the Tehachapi Pass. One wind farm at a time continues to be approved through the Tehachapi Mountains and Southern Sierras. There are 6 wind farms that I know of in some cycle of the planning phase. These comprise at least 100 square miles of land that hasn’t been touched since the earth began.

Furthermore, numerous industrial solar plants that are easily just as destructive to the native land as industrial wind turbines have risen at an equal pace. The U.S. government, President, Congress and Jerry Brown who is the has-been Governor of California is responsible, that pig.

Make notices and leave them EVERYWHERE

Not that I want to degrade the effects from wind turbines on people, but I hope this doc. will finally show the full blown scam that is being perpetuated onto Ontario ratepayers all in the name of clean, green and free, which BTW renewables like wind are not even remotely close to delivering. I can see that Sun News like many media outlets, are laying on the dramatics with tearful comments and even the voice of the announcer has a tone of doom and gloom. Unfortunately, I believe this takes away from the credibility of the content. I don’t know if SunNews is trying to be tongue and cheek for entertainment value, but I can only hope this report will be taken seriously by our governing officials and things change as a result.

Thank God a jounalist has finaly taken this step. Wake up Toronto. Set your greed aside for sensibility Unions. Quit putting the Liberal criminals into power. They’ve turned us into a have-not province and destroyed the fabric and lives of many in rural Ontario. Enough is enough.

Laying on the dramatics? It’s beyond dramatic to have to walk away from a home after it’s become uninhabitable. It’s beyond dramatic to feel like throwing up every day, to be unable to sleep at night along with the other problems that arise with living near turbines for many. Screw ‘convincing’ the crooks in power. They have all the information they need. They have CHOSEN to ignore it and continue the harm. They will never be convinced. They need to be turfed. They should be put in jail for willfully harming us out here.

The medical effects are most certainly a unifying theme, world wide. No one can really refute the genuine effects, loss of homes, livestock, health, community vibrancy. I hope the relevance of health is applied liberally, and that it is recommended that they be taken down, all of them. Not one person should be victimized in this fashion. NOT ONE. It is hideous. Scam, yes, but most scams don’t take lives.
