Climate Alarmists now have a new explanation for the pause in Global Warming since 1998. They “mis-measured” the temperatures and it’s actually been getting hotter than first thought. When you’ve stopped laughing and cleaned up the coffee that you just spewed all over your keyboard, ask yourself this. If they “mis-measured” the temps how can this new data be reliable? How did they supposedly get it wrong in the first place? AND, how come these things always fall on the side of MORE global warming? In other words, why didn’t they suddenly realize that the earth is NOT getting hotter? Here’s the graph they’re using to “prove” it’s getting hotter.
Notice again that it only starts at 1880. Now let’s pull that graph back for the last 10,000 years.
We are CLEARLY in a cooling period when you look at the data from Greenland ice core samples from the past several thousand years.
The manipulation of this hoax continues and the lemmings continue to gobble it up. I guess since no one was buying the “ocean ate the heat” nonsense, they had to come up with something new and this is it. You would think that the members of this new world religion of AGW would stop and question this sudden revised temperature data, but don’t count on it. One of the prerequisites of being a member of the Church of Global Warming is a complete lack of common sense or independent thought. — DQ
Scientists Drop Science Bomb on Climate Change Skeptics
Jonathan Chalt – June 5, 2015
Over the last couple of years, the conservative movement, which loves science, has had a completely scientific-based reason for skepticism about climate change. The Earth’s temperature seemed to be rising at a slower rate than scientists had predicted. The global warming “pause,” as it was inaccurately called — it was actually “getting warmer at a slower-than-expected rate,” rather than an actual pause — served as grist for a massive flow of coverage expressing skepticism about scientific models and climate change.
An extremely partial list of leading conservatives holding up the “pause” as a reason to doubt climate science models includes The Wall Street Journal editors and their faithful, skeptical contributors; Fox News; Michael Barone; the Heritage Foundation; the American Enterprise Institute; the Cato Institute; National Review … and that’s not even descending to the level of the Daily Caller, Washington Free Beacon, and so on.
The importance of the global-warming pause, conservatives explained, was that we needed to get the science right. “One lesson of the IPCC report is that now is the time for policy caution. Let’s see if the nonwarming trend continues, in which case the climate models will need remodeling,” explained the Journal’s editors.
But fortunately we now have an answer. A new paper released today by the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration finds that the apparent slowdown in warming was an artifact of mis-measurement. The Earth is not warming at a slower rate. It’s warming at the same fast pace as it did the previous decade:…Continue reading here…
