After announcing a few weeks ago, that Paul and I have decided to step back from our environmental justice / anti-corporate-greed activities and close the site down, we were contacted by several people who felt that Quixotes was a valuable place for resource material and wished to keep it going for another year.
We’ve accepted the offer of a couple whose idyllic lives were destroyed by an industrial wind facility that was placed entirely too close to their home. Over time, the infrasound, thumping and shadow flicker created numerous health issues, including lack of sleep, nausea, headaches, etc., for them and their 2 young sons. Eventually, they had to sell their treasured home at a loss in order to seek relief.
At this point, we’re not sure if they will be adding additional materials over the next 12 months, but it’s nice to see that our little site meant so much to so many people.
We may pop up from time to time, but meanwhile, maintain the objective.
Glad you changed your mind/s, we need t keep fighting the bastards.
Kind regards from Anglesey North Wales.
A year’s reprieve but a sad reason to carry on, albeit a very good one. Pleased to hear from you again when I thought we never would.
Welcome back (part time)
Jaf.
Thanks for all you’ve done and good luck this year.
